Ally & James
A rustic, easy-going day on a private oak-studded property, string lights strung for the reception, and a kiss caught in the last warm light of the afternoon.
The way it felt.
They kissed in the open field just as the light went gold, James in a flat cap and flannel, Ally with a flower crown woven through her hair. It was an easy, unhurried kind of day.
The reception ran under string lights strung across the open grounds, rustic and handmade in the best sense, nothing overdesigned. We stayed loose and followed the day where it wanted to go.
On Hidden Oaks Private Weddings & Events.
Hidden Oaks Private Weddings & Events sits on its own private grounds in Ramona, oak-studded and open, built specifically to host a wedding rather than converted for one. The golden hour here runs long and low across the open field, which is exactly the light Ally and James got married in, and it is why we always try to build a Hidden Oaks timeline around that last hour before sunset.
Do you film weddings at Hidden Oaks Private Weddings & Events?
Yes. We've filmed at Hidden Oaks Private Weddings & Events and know the property, from where the light is best to how the day moves from ceremony to reception. As a Ramona wedding videographer we plan the coverage around the venue itself, so the film feels specific to where you got married, not generic.
How much does a Ramona wedding videographer cost?
Our wedding films range from $6,000 for The Moment to $10,000 for The Legacy, our most complete collection. Every collection includes a full cinematic wedding film plus a custom wedding website. You can see everything on our Collections page.
How soon do we get our wedding film?
Your full cinematic wedding film is delivered in about 8 to 12 weeks. Our two larger collections, The Portrait and The Legacy, also include a shorter teaser, delivered sooner so you have something to share while the full film is edited.
Is there a difference between a wedding film and a wedding video?
We'd say yes. A wedding video is a record of what happened. A wedding film is edited with intention, pacing, and your actual vows and speeches woven through it, so it plays more like a short film than a highlight reel. That's what we make.
Will we notice you during the day?
Barely, and that's the point. We film the day as it actually unfolds rather than staging it, staying close but out of the way, so you're present for your wedding instead of performing for a camera. Most couples tell us they forgot we were filming until they watched the film back.
