Jonathan & Alexa
Beverly Hills in the rain, and none of it mattered. Press play, sound on.
The way it felt.
It rained on Jonathan and Alexa, properly, the kind of Beverly Hills downpour that turns every stone path into a mirror. They walked out into it under a clear umbrella and did not seem to mind at all, and that decision gave the film its whole character.
The Maybourne handled the rest: a covered arrival on Canon Drive, warm rooms that hold their own light, and a hotel built to absorb a hundred and fifty people without ever feeling crowded. We filmed close and let the weather be part of it rather than something to hide.
On The Maybourne.
The Maybourne Beverly Hills sits on Canon Drive, a block off Rodeo, in the building that spent a decade as the Montage before the Maybourne group took it over. It is a hotel that films warm: Mediterranean stone outside, and inside a five-thousand-square-foot ballroom with opera balconies and chandeliers that give a reception real height. The Terrace looks out over Beverly Canon Gardens, where white parasols and a cascading fountain do a convincing impression of a European piazza, and the rooftop opens up to the Hollywood Hills. Because so much of the property is covered or interior, it is one of the few Los Angeles venues where weather genuinely does not dictate the day.

Do you film weddings at The Maybourne Beverly Hills?
Yes. The Maybourne Beverly Hills is one of our favorite Los Angeles venues, and we know it well, from the Canon Drive entrance to the ballroom with its opera balconies. As a Maybourne Beverly Hills wedding videographer we plan the day around the hotel's warm interior light, so your wedding film feels the way the day actually felt. Beverly Hills is right in our home range as a Los Angeles based studio.
How much does a Maybourne Beverly Hills wedding videographer cost?
Our wedding films range from $6,000 for The Moment to $10,000 for The Legacy, our most complete collection. Every collection is a full cinematic wedding video of your The Maybourne Beverly Hills day plus a custom wedding website. You can see everything on our Collections page.
How soon do we get our wedding film?
Your full cinematic wedding film is delivered in about 8 to 12 weeks. Our two larger collections, The Portrait and The Legacy, also include a shorter teaser of your wedding video, delivered sooner so you have something to share while the full film is edited.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We keep filming, and it usually helps. Jonathan and Alexa's day was a wet one, and the rain gave that film some of its best frames: a clear umbrella, wet stone catching the light, and two people who decided not to care. A hotel like the Maybourne is built for it, with covered arrivals and interiors that hold up on camera, so a rainy forecast is never a reason to panic.
Will we notice you during the day?
Barely, and that is the point. We film the day as it actually unfolds rather than staging it, staying close but out of the way, so you are present for your wedding instead of performing for a camera. Most couples tell us they forgot we were filming until they watched their wedding film.
