A ceremony inside a room that has clearly seen a century of Los Angeles history, carved wood screens and rich paneling holding the whole thing in warm, low light.

The way it felt.
The ceremony sat inside a room with carved wood screens and dark paneling that has clearly held a century of Los Angeles history, warm low light doing most of the work on camera.
It is a genuinely unusual room to get married in, more like a private library than a typical ceremony space, and it gave the whole film a warmth that a bright, open venue just doesn't have.
On Los Angeles Athletic Club.
The Los Angeles Athletic Club is a historic downtown institution, founded in the 1880s, and its interior rooms carry real architectural weight: carved wood, ornate lattice screens, and a sense of occasion that is hard to manufacture in a newer venue. It is one of the more distinctive indoor ceremony spaces we film in Los Angeles.
