The Langham Huntington wedding film
Casey & Alex
Old stone stairs, a garden ceremony under the hotel’s facade, and a ballroom reception. Sound on.

Under the facade.
Casey and Alex were married in the gardens in front of The Langham Huntington, the hotel’s facade and an arched window standing behind the ceremony.
Their portraits that afternoon were made on a path between clipped hedges, with warm light coming low through the trees behind them.
Notes on the grounds.
The Langham Huntington first opened in 1907, and the grounds still read that way: a balustraded stone staircase, old trees, a Japanese garden with a red footbridge over its pond, and ballrooms with gilded ceilings. Mature trees shade the Japanese Garden and the paths around it, which keeps faces soft without any setup. The one thing we always plan for is sound outside: the ceremony sites are open lawns and gardens, and the Japanese Garden has a waterfall beside its pond.
