Ellen & Sandro
Ellen and Sandro in black tie at the Colony Palms Hotel, out under the Palm Springs palms in the last light. Sound on.

Black tie, desert light.
Ellen and Sandro were married at the Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs, and they dressed for it, a black tuxedo and a gown that moves like water. The frame this film is held on has the two of them kissing in the middle of a palm-lined street at golden hour, the mountains soft behind them.
The night closes with a sparkler exit and one last kiss inside the light of it. The film runs eleven minutes and forty-three seconds. Watch it with sound.
Notes on the place.
Palm Springs gives you two things no coastal venue can, mountains at the end of every street and golden hour that turns the whole town amber. The Colony Palms sits in the middle of it, so a portrait walk goes out the front gate and straight into that light. After dark the courtyard runs on string lights and sparklers, and the desert air stays warm enough to keep everyone outside.
