Marcel and Lauren were married at Hummingbird Nest Ranch, and their portraits happened on the walk out past the buildings, where the ground stops being landscaped and starts being hillside.
Their film runs a little over ten minutes, the longest we have made at this property.
Notes on the place.
There is a line at Hummingbird Nest where the estate stops. Up to it everything is irrigated and clipped; past it the ground is dry, uneven and completely open. Almost every film made here stays on the near side of that line. Crossing it takes about four minutes on foot and it is the single biggest difference between a film that looks like a Hummingbird Nest wedding and one that looks like yours.
Do you film weddings at Hummingbird Nest Ranch?
Yes. Marcel and Lauren's wedding film was made there, and you can watch it on this site. Having filmed a place once means we already know how it behaves through the day rather than working it out on the morning.
How much does a wedding videographer cost?
Our collections run from $6,000 for The Moment to $10,000 for The Legacy, our most complete collection. Each one is a full cinematic wedding film of your day plus a custom wedding website. Everything is set out on our Collections page.
When do we get our wedding film?
About 8 to 12 weeks for the full film. The Portrait and The Legacy also include a shorter teaser, delivered sooner, so you have something to share while the main edit is still running.
Will we notice you during the day?
Barely. We film the day as it happens rather than staging it, staying close but out of the way. Most couples tell us afterwards that they forgot anyone was filming.
