Max & Lauren
The valley's famous last light. Press play, sound on.

The way it felt.
Ojai has a trick it plays at the end of the day, locals call it the pink moment, when the Topatopa Mountains hold the sunset and the whole valley turns rose. Max and Lauren's film was always going to end there.
Everything before it earned that ending: a day that moved at Ojai's pace, unhurried and warm, friends spilling between the ceremony and the long tables, a couple who let the day be what it was. We filmed it the same way, patiently, and with the mountains always in the frame.
On Ojai Valley Inn.
The Ojai Valley Inn is the grande dame of Ojai, a Spanish colonial resort set into oak-studded grounds about ninety minutes north of Los Angeles, with the Topa Topa mountains rising behind it. Ojai's east-west valley catches the sunset straight on, which is why the light here, the pink moment locals wait for, is unlike anywhere else in California. We plan every Ojai Valley Inn wedding film around that last hour of the day. If you are marrying here, we know exactly where to be when the valley turns gold.
