Teddy & Lindsay
Clifftop on the peninsula, in February, with the water flat below. Sound on.

Winter clarity.
Teddy and Lindsay were married on the Palos Verdes peninsula, on the bluffs where the land runs out and drops straight into the Pacific.
February on that coast is quiet and often clearer than summer, because the marine layer that sits over the peninsula through June and July has not settled in yet. Their portraits were made in the tall coastal planting along the cliff path.
Notes on the light.
The Palos Verdes bluffs are among the most dramatic coastline in Los Angeles County, and they are also one of the harder places to film well. Wind comes straight up the cliff face, so audio needs solving properly rather than hopefully. Footing along the cliff paths is uneven, which limits how far you can walk a long dress. And the peninsula gets socked in by marine layer through early summer, so a February or October wedding often sees a cleaner horizon than a June one.
