Notes on the light
Mariners Church is a large, modern campus in Irvine built around a chapel of stone and timber, tall enough that afternoon light carries deep into the room rather than staying near the windows. Because it is a dedicated chapel rather than a rented hall, the space is genuinely built for a wedding to look and sound right on camera, which is not something we can say about every ceremony venue.

The film, so far
We have made one film here so far: Andrew & Kendal, a chapel ceremony followed by a reception that stayed loud and warm the entire night.

Because the chapel is purpose-built, the audio and lighting are already dialed in for a ceremony, which is a real advantage over hotel ballrooms converted for the day. We coordinate with the church's team ahead of time on exact ceremony timing so the light through the windows is working with us rather than against us.
