Desiree & Dominic
A church, a white car, and a city that still does this properly. Sound on.

The steps.
Desiree and Dominic were married in Los Angeles in December, in a traditional church ceremony, and came out of it to a white vintage car waiting at the steps.
That exit is the frame the film is built around. It is a shot with a long history in this city and it still works, provided you are standing in the right place before the doors open rather than running for it afterwards.
Notes on the light.
Los Angeles has more grand church facades than anywhere else in the state, and a church exit is one of the few moments in a wedding day that is genuinely unrepeatable: it happens once, it lasts about fifteen seconds, and it is over. The whole job is being in position early. December helps, because the sun is low enough by mid afternoon to light the front of a west-facing building properly rather than leaving the steps in shadow the way a June wedding would.
