Evan & Kelly
A chuppah draped in a tallit and heavy with blush garden roses, and a golden hour walk out onto the ridge with the Simi hills going amber behind them.

The way it felt.
They were married under a chuppah wrapped in blush and cream garden roses, a tallit stretched overhead, the ranch lawn running out behind them toward the hills.
Portraits went up onto the ridge as the light dropped, dry golden hills folding away in every direction. That last hour on the high ground is the reason we push couples here to protect the time for it.
On Hummingbird Nest Ranch.
Hummingbird Nest Ranch is a Spanish Colonial estate on 124 acres in the Santa Susanas, with sandstone boulder formations rising behind the property and dry golden hills in every direction. The scale is the point: ceremony lawns, a ridge for portraits, and stables and courtyards that all read differently on camera, so a single day can move through several completely distinct looks.
