Faraz & Nassim
A Persian ceremony with the sofreh aghd laid out in full, set against a wall of white and blush blooms, and a candlelit dinner that ran the whole length of the terraced grounds.

The way it felt.
The sofreh aghd was laid out in front of them in full, mirror and candles and fruit, against a floral wall built floor to ceiling in white and blush. The boulders of the Simi hills sat directly behind it.
Dinner ran long tables the length of the terraced grounds after dark, taper candles down every one of them and the estate lit up behind. It is one of the largest single setups we have filmed at this property.
On Hummingbird Nest Ranch.
Hummingbird Nest Ranch is a Spanish Colonial estate on 124 acres in the Santa Susanas, with sandstone boulder formations rising behind the property and dry golden hills in every direction. The terraced grounds below the main house hold a large seated dinner without feeling crowded, and the estate facade lights beautifully after dark, which matters for a reception that runs late.
