01The Day

Twenty minutes.

Sean and Lindsey were married at Hummingbird Nest Ranch and their portrait time was protected properly, which is rarer than it sounds and shows immediately in the film.

Twenty minutes away from your own wedding, at the right time of day, is worth more to the finished film than any other single decision on the timeline.

02Filming at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

Notes on the place.

The most common thing that goes wrong on a wedding day is that portrait time gets eaten. Cocktail hour runs over, the family photo list is longer than anyone admitted, and the couple arrive on the hillside with six minutes and no light. We ask for twenty protected minutes at a specific time, we tell you what time that is as soon as we know the sunset, and we hold the line on it. Everything else on this property can be worked around. That cannot.

QWedding Film & Video, Answered
Do you film weddings at Hummingbird Nest Ranch?

Yes. Sean and Lindsey's wedding film was made there, and you can watch it on this site. Having filmed a place once means we already know how it behaves through the day rather than working it out on the morning.

How much does a wedding videographer cost?

Our collections run from $6,000 for The Moment to $10,000 for The Legacy, our most complete collection. Each one is a full cinematic wedding film of your day plus a custom wedding website. Everything is set out on our Collections page.

When do we get our wedding film?

About 8 to 12 weeks for the full film. The Portrait and The Legacy also include a shorter teaser, delivered sooner, so you have something to share while the main edit is still running.

Will we notice you during the day?

Barely. We film the day as it happens rather than staging it, staying close but out of the way. Most couples tell us afterwards that they forgot anyone was filming.
