Tyler & Eliza
Tyler and Eliza, married at Playa Studios in Culver City. Sound on.

Under the skylights.
Tyler and Eliza were married at Playa Studios, in Culver City. The frame we chose for this page is the one that says the most: the two of them close together, her veil caught around them both, Eliza laughing. The light on them is bright and even.
The film runs seven minutes and ten seconds. That length is a decision rather than an accident. It gives the day room to move at its own pace instead of compressing it into a highlight reel.
Notes on the place.
Playa Studios is a five thousand square foot multi-use building on Playa Court, sitting where Culver City meets Playa Vista. It goes out as a full buyout, so on a wedding day the whole place belongs to one couple and there is no second event pushing at your timeline. A crew can set up wide and stay out of the way, and the ceremony room is not being watched by anyone waiting to use it next. The trade is that everything happens indoors, so the film’s palette is set by whatever the skylights and the house lighting are doing rather than by the weather.
