01The Day

High side.

Tony and Katherine were married at The Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point, on the bluff where the lawn ends and the ground drops away to the beach.

Their film runs a little over seven minutes. The coastline does most of the work: from up there you can see south along the water for miles, which is not something most oceanfront venues can actually offer.

02Filming at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

Notes on the place.

What separates this property from the other oceanfront resorts in Orange County is elevation. The ceremony lawn sits a hundred and fifty feet above the sand, so the horizon line falls well below the couple rather than cutting through them, and you get depth: beach, surf, headland, open water, all stacked. The tradeoff is exposure to wind coming straight up the bluff face, which has to be solved at the microphone rather than in the edit.

QWedding Film & Video, Answered
Do you film weddings at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel?

Yes. Tony and Katherine's wedding film was made there, and you can watch it on this site. Having filmed a place once means we already know how it behaves through the day rather than working it out on the morning.

How much does a wedding videographer cost?

Our collections run from $6,000 for The Moment to $10,000 for The Legacy, our most complete collection. Each one is a full cinematic wedding film of your day plus a custom wedding website. Everything is set out on our Collections page.

When do we get our wedding film?

About 8 to 12 weeks for the full film. The Portrait and The Legacy also include a shorter teaser, delivered sooner, so you have something to share while the main edit is still running.

Will we notice you during the day?

Barely. We film the day as it happens rather than staging it, staying close but out of the way. Most couples tell us afterwards that they forgot anyone was filming.
