Alano & Alla

Vows exchanged in front of a stacked-rock waterfall, a hotel built into the Conejo Valley hills, and a reception that ran straight through to a cake-cutting kiss.

01The Day

The way it felt.

They were married in front of a stacked-rock waterfall, the kind of backdrop that does most of the work for you on camera, and Alano watched Alla come down the aisle with the water running behind the officiant the whole time.

The reception moved indoors under brick archways and columns, and by the time they cut the cake they were laughing too hard to actually get through it cleanly. That is usually when the best footage happens.

02Filming at Four Seasons Westlake Village

On Four Seasons Westlake Village.

Four Seasons Westlake Village sits in the hills of the Conejo Valley, and its ceremony garden is built around a stacked-rock waterfall that gives every ceremony here a real focal point without any added florals. The resort's brick colonnades carry a reception well into the evening, warm and covered, which matters if your date lands in the shoulder season when the hills cool off fast after sunset.
