Silver water, soft sky.
Josh and Gina were married at Terranea Resort in April 2022, under a chuppah on a lawn at the edge of the bluff with nothing behind it but ocean. The sky is a soft, even grey in every outdoor frame, and the water holds the same silver tone. Their portraits are down on the rocks at the waterline, along the bluff path through dry grasses, and in front of a hedge of red blooms.
The reception moves into a ballroom hung with white drapery under a row of drum shades, and onto a full dance floor. The film runs four minutes and nineteen seconds. Watch it with sound.
Notes on the place.
Terranea sits on Long Point, and the property gives a film several kinds of coastline. The ceremony lawns look straight out from the top of the bluff. A path runs along the top of the cliff, with the rocks at the waterline below it. The resort’s white walls and red tile roofs show up behind the ceremony and in the aerials. This day stayed grey, and the ocean still reads in every coastal frame.
