Brendan & Jenna
Open ocean, and nothing in the way. Press play, sound on.
The way it felt.
The Bel-Air Bay Club sits high on the Pacific Palisades bluffs, and there is almost nothing between its lawn and the horizon. Brendan and Jenna's day ran straight into that light and stayed there until the sun went down.
It had an easy, unhurried warmth: a ceremony with the ocean wide open behind it, then the old Mediterranean clubhouse for the evening. We filmed it patiently, and let the water do most of the work in the wide frames.
On Bel-Air Bay Club.
The Bel-Air Bay Club was built in 1927 as a private beach club for a young Los Angeles, and it has kept its Mediterranean Revival bones ever since. The Grand Lawn is the reason to film here: a level stretch of green on the edge of the Palisades bluffs, with open Pacific filling the whole background and no rooftops in the way. Inside, the 1920s clubhouse carries the evening, with a soaring living room and a wall of windows that hold the last of the daylight. It is a west-facing property, so the sunset comes to you. We build every Bel-Air Bay Club wedding film around that, and shoot the ceremony with the ocean behind you.
Do you film weddings at Bel-Air Bay Club?
Yes. Bel-Air Bay Club is one of our favorite Los Angeles venues, and we know it well, from the Grand Lawn on the bluff to the 1920s clubhouse and its wall of windows. As a Bel-Air Bay Club wedding videographer we plan the day around the sun dropping straight into the Pacific, so your wedding film feels the way the day actually felt. Pacific Palisades sits right in our home range as a Los Angeles based studio.
How much does a Bel-Air Bay Club wedding videographer cost?
Our wedding films range from $6,000 for The Moment to $10,000 for The Legacy, our most complete collection. Every collection is a full cinematic wedding video of your Bel-Air Bay Club day plus a custom wedding website. You can see everything on our Collections page.
How soon do we get our wedding film?
Your full cinematic wedding film is delivered in about 8 to 12 weeks. Our two larger collections, The Portrait and The Legacy, also include a shorter teaser of your wedding video, delivered sooner so you have something to share while the full film is edited.
Is there a difference between a wedding film and a wedding video?
Not much. The terms get used interchangeably. Whether you are searching for a Bel-Air Bay Club wedding videographer or a wedding film, we make the same thing: one cinematic piece, scored and edited like a short film, from your day at Bel-Air Bay Club.
Will we notice you during the day?
Barely, and that is the point. We film the day as it actually unfolds rather than staging it, staying close but out of the way, so you are present for your wedding instead of performing for a camera. Most couples tell us they forgot we were filming until they watched their wedding film.
